Strideo

Privacy policy

Last updated: October 2026

Strideo is designed to keep your information on your phone. This page explains what the app does and does not do.

What stays on your phone

Your steps, goals, weight and profile details, streaks, workouts and GPS routes are stored on your phone only. There is no Strideo account, and we do not receive this information. Location is used only while you record a GPS walk and is never uploaded.

Ads

The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. Google may use your device's advertising ID and other device information to show and measure ads. In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, you are asked for consent first and can change it later in the app. Strideo Pro removes ads.

Payments

Subscriptions and purchases are handled by Google Play. We receive only whether your purchase is active. We never see your payment details.

Friends (optional, Pro)

If you turn on Friends, the app creates an anonymous identifier and shares only a nickname you choose and your daily, weekly and monthly step and calorie totals with the friends you accept. Routes, weight, goals and workout history are never shared. You can delete your Friends profile and its data at any time: how to delete.

Sharing a workout

When you share a workout, the app creates an image on your phone and gives it to the app you choose. Photos you pick or take are used only to build that image and are not uploaded by Strideo.

Diagnostics

Strideo may collect anonymous crash reports and basic usage statistics to fix problems. They do not include your steps, routes or personal details.

Children

Strideo is not directed at children under 13, and weight goals are limited to adults.

Your choices

You can delete the app at any time to remove its data from your phone. For questions, contact email.
